Disclosure Statement Regarding Security Cameras Located Within Service Buildings
This Disclosure Statement has been prepared by Diyar Kablo Elekt. İnş. Nak. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) in its capacity as Data Controller, pursuant to Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures to Be Followed in Fulfillment of the Obligation to Inform.
Within the service buildings belonging to our Company, video surveillance is conducted through security cameras installed at entrances, exterior facades, dining halls, visitor waiting areas, and service areas for the purpose of ensuring building security. The recording activities are monitored and supervised by the Company’s administrative management unit.
Legal Basis for Processing
The personal data in question (visual records) is processed automatically based on the legal grounds set forth in Article 5 of the Law, namely:
- That processing is mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligations; and
- That processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that such processing does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.
Transfer of Personal Data
The recorded personal data may be transferred to judicial authorities or relevant law enforcement agencies for the resolution of legal disputes or upon request in accordance with applicable legislation.
Rights of the Data Subject
You may submit your requests within the scope of Article 11 of the KVKK, which regulates the rights of data subjects, in accordance with the procedures specified in our General Disclosure Statement and Application Form, and in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller.
